The schedule at One Yoga has something for everyone!  We have many unheated, beginner, and gentle classes as well as advanced, challenging and heated classes each day.  If you are just beginning a yoga practice, you will find highly skilled, experienced and compassionate teachers waiting to get you started.  If you are a long time yogi wanting a studio to call home that will foster your continued growth, you need not look any further.  At One Yoga we are committed to holding space for all who wish to walk the yoga path.  As studio owner I am personally committed to facilitating a safe passage for you on this amazing journey...come to the mat with us and see!

One Integrative School of Yoga is dedicated to preparing teachers to step into the teaching role with a solid integrated understanding of Yoga as a way of life. The intention is to provide the knowledge base in Philosophy, Anatomy, Alignment, Instruction, and Yoga Lifestyle to prepare graduates to teach great, integrated classes. 

 

This is a practical approach to teaching yoga that has proven immensely successful to Gina Keefe in her thriving yoga studio. Trainees will have a tool kit full of skills and knowledge to create top-notch yoga classes, to provide quality private instruction, and business savvy to step into the profession with confidence. Gina Keefe and Jenny Clarke, both highly qualified and experienced instructors, will guide you on the path to your yoga career with their wealth of knowledge and experience.  This will be a journey of transformation.

AERIAL SUMMER CAMP & PRIVATE LESSON SPECIAL

 

Turn your little Yogis and Yoginis worlds’ upside down at our all new Aerial Summer Camp at One Yoga & Fitness!  Aerial Summer Camp integrates aerial arts and fitness with yoga. UExpect your kids to learn new poses and creative ways to practice yoga and fitness mindfully in the hammocks. They will have time to explore, create, and mindfully play in the hammocks both structured and independently.

We are very excited to offer personal training to help you achieve your fitness goals. You will be trained by our very own TRX instructor, Chad DeFriece. Chad is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and an IFPA Pro Natural Bodybuilder. He has many years of experience in the fitness and training role. You will be trained one-on-one in a private studio. Or bring a friend and train together. I almost didn’t come… I liked what I saw on One Yoga’s website, and I liked what I saw when I pressed my nose against the glass entrance door.  But I am an overweight woman in my mid-50’s and I have never done yoga in my life.  My body has been crying out to me for a while, though, and I knew that I wanted to try yoga.  So, even though I was afraid that I might not be able to do it and that I might fall on my face and make a total fool of myself, I took what was a big step for me and came to One Yoga & Fitness.  I am so very happy that I did!

I started by meeting with Gina for a couple of private introductory sessions.  Gina is a perfect instructor for me – she is professional, kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.  She helped me get started and gave me the confidence to move on to the classroom setting. 

To be honest, my plan was to get some private instruction, go to a few classes, and then get some DVDs, etc., so that I could practice yoga at home on my own.  What I didn’t understand was just how special the group atmosphere would be!  I have attended One Yoga classes taught by several different instructors and I love them all!  Each instructor has her own teaching style and each of the classes is different, but they have each made me feel welcomed, comfortable, challenged and rewarded.

One Yoga’s open and generous spirit is contagious.  The other students I have met are all friendly and it just feels good and right for me to be there.

In my first 90 days of practicing yoga, I have gained confidence, strength and balance and feel that I now belong to a community of like-minded, positive people.  And, being part of this group has inspired me to take better care of myself in other ways… I have lost 15 pounds in this three month period and am looking forward to becoming stronger, more fit and more centered as I continue my yoga practice.

So… if you are feeling intimidated about trying yoga, please don’t be afraid.  One Yoga is a perfect place to learn, have fun, get stronger and even tip over now and then.  It’s all good.
